Top 5 Tips to Banner Marketing Success

Banners are a great way to get your word out there both quickly and effectively. They not only allow you to spread your message to a large group of people, but also allow you to clearly convey a message. This is extremely important in not only gaining brand recognition, but also motivating customers to interact with your brand. Below are five top tips to help ensure that your banner is the best it can be.

Size - Make sure that the size of the banner is something that can easily be seen from a long distance. The size should stand out from the normal banner, and should also include enough space for you to properly display your branding. Remember, the more white space the better when it comes to banners. So try and go bigger than you would usually think.

Copy - Make sure that the copy on the banner is simple and to the point. Include copy that speaks to your target demographic too. By including copy that is targeted at your demographic, you are more likely to make a sale. So do a full analysis of your current customer base and see who is more likely to use your services. This will help in getting tailoring a banner that is more in line with your current needs.

Shape - Try and go for a shape that is not rectangular. By opting for a non-traditional shape, you are more likely to stand out as well as get attention from just about everyone. So think of things that embody your business and go from there.

Images - Include images on the banner that fall in line with your current marketing initiatives. This could include such things as mascots, landscape backgrounds, etc. Just be sure that all of the images are in line with your brand and match the overall composition of the banner.

Placement - Be sure that the placement of your banner is something that speaks to your audience. Many times the banner placement can be right along side your competition. This will help elevate your awareness as well as force people to compare your prices with the competition.

When you are done with your banner, make sure that you get feedback from everyone you know. By getting feedback from everyone you know you are more likely to get the results you want while also getting insight on other marketing collateral. As a result, ask around and see what best works for you and your brand.
